The publisher Dupuis published a series of adventures of Spirou representing a rare piece of history of the twentieth century. It is the 41st issue of the Journal de Spirou in hiding out (after the ban on publication of the German occupiers in Belgium) since 1943. It was produced and distributed in secret, in the streets of Brussels. The sheet also contained in the code, place and date of distribution of the number below. The whole thing was signed by cartoonist Al ( Alec Severin, a de eMule Gus Bofa et de Jije ). The Adventures of Spirou, Fantasio and Spip were linked to the (sad) everyday of the city: rationing, bombing, Nazi repression ... all that entailed the Occupation.
