Kumpi on parempi ostos, Mickey Mouse in living color vol. 2 vaiko chronological Donald vol. 1?

Riippuu siitä, että haluatko nähdä vanhoja Disney-piirrettyjä, vaiko kenties uudempia? Jos haluat niitä vanhoja klassikoita, niin osta ihmeessä Aku. Onhan tuossa kakkos-Mikissäkin tiätty jotain klassisia piirrettyjä, mutta Akussa on vanhempia.

Ja eihän se dvd aina ole extroista ja pituudesta kiinni. Mutta neuvon sinulle, että osta Aku.

Mielenkiintoista nähdä kuinka osa on siirtynyt Barksin tarinoihin.
Olisi vaan Nokkapokan tekijätiimi nähnyt nämä.

Miten niin siirtynyt Barksin tarinoihin?

Barks työskenteli 1935-42 Disneyn animaatiostudioilla käsikirjoittajana. Monia aiheita ja ideoita hän kierrätti muunneltuina sarjakuviinsa.

Tietääkä kukaan minkä verran nämä treasures Dvd:t ovat Suomessa myyneet? Jos myyntiluvut ovat olleet hyviä niin eiköhän nämä suositut hahmot Aku, Pluto ja Hessu ilmesty tulevaisuudessa.

Varmaan aika hyvin. Olisin ostanut sen chronological Donaldin, mutta se oli jo myyty loppuun.

Loppukeväästä olisi huhujen mukaan tulossa Suomeen The Complete Pluto Vol.1 ja Chronological Donald vol. 2.

Ei ole näkynyt. Onko kenelläkään minkäänlaista vähäistäkään uutta tietoa näistä?  Filmifriikin sivuilla on tulevia DVD:itä elokuuhun asti, mutta ei ollut yhtään Treasures DVD:tä siellä.

Jenkkeihin tai johonkin ulkomaille on jolukuun 5.päivä tulossa muutama uusi:

Saattaa olla että Treasures -sarja päättyy:

Who'd ever have thought that CHIP AND DALE (1947) would be a more obscure Disney short than DER FEUHRER'S FACE (1943)? Or that THE TRIAL OF DONALD DUCK (1948) would be harder to see than EDUCATION FOR DEATH (1943)? That's the way it stands now if Disney Home Video has their way.

Word is circulating around the Internet that Disney has put a halt to the series of Walt Disney Treasures, the annual set of archival dvds, packaged in a tin container, hosted and produced by Leonard Maltin. The series was close to releasing every short the company ever produced, but has now stopped short of completing the collection of its most important short subject star, Donald Duck. Wartime cartoons, silent rarities, lost Disneyland footage, the complete run of Silly Symphonies—all this and more have been part of the Walt Disney Treasures during the past six years (click here for a complete list).
