Hi everyone!
Long time no hear, so I just wanted to send you a quick update and
confirm that yes, the book is still happening and at the moment it
looks like it finally, FINALLY at very long last will be ready for
being sent to the printer before the end of the year so that it'll be
in stock for shipping just a couple weeks later. A long, tedious
journey finally coming to an end ... I'll keep you guys posted once
it's time to confirm your shipping addresses. It's NOT necessary to
send any address updates at the moment, I'll prepare a survey page on
which everyone will be asked to enter their most current address (even
if they haven't moved since the original campaign), so that there
won't be any delivery disruptions.
As usual, please absolutely feel free to let me know if you grew
uncomfortable with the waiting and would rather have a refund of your
original payment, I will send that right away in those cases. After
the last update earlier this year, only two people were interested in
a refund, so I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and
everyone of you for your continued trust. I can assure you I'm still
here in Germany and still have the money, so I'm not lying in a
hammock in the Caribbean sipping drinks on your dime or something.

On a different note, I've been asked to let Don's fans know about a
new project currently in the works. (I'm NOT involved in the
production and it's not done by just one single person, so chances are
they WILL in fact release this at their scheduled release date.

)
Famous Austrian photographer Lois Lammerhuber, who already won several
of the world's most important photography awards, visited Don this
summer in Louisville to prepare photos for a coffee table sized photo
report book on him, his home, his different hobbies, collections etc.
Imagine it like a more extensive version of my "DR House Tour" video.
The retail price will be 49,- EUR and it's supposed to come out on
June 29 next year for Don's 66th birthday.
However, they already offer preorders for two separate signed special
editions, and you can find out more on their website at
http://edition.lammerhuber.at/en/books/i-still-get-chills -- it'll be
published in both German and English, and if you'd rather buy the
German version, you can do that at
http://edition.lammerhuber.at/buecher/i-still-get-chills. If the page
text shows up in your prefered language, you're on the right one.

They already did a photo report book on German-language comic book
collectors last year, which turned out pretty nicely, from what I
hear, and you can find a couple sample pics from the Don book on the
link above. If you're interested in one of their special editions,
please get in touch with them directly via the order links on their
website. (I will probably be able to sell signed copies of the regular
retail version after its release, but those special edition preorders
are currently exclusive to their own website.)
And that's it for today, have a nice weekend everyone!
Best,
Jano
