30 euroa on vähän nihkeä hinta kirjasta jossa on täysin obskyyrin kuvittajan levynkansia tuntemattomille hissimusiikkiartisteille mutta päätelkää itse

Ne Flora kirjat ovat kiva katsella. En tosin odotin että joku oikeasti ostaisi ne. Mulla on ne hyllyssä koska ne nyt vaan näytavät hienolta. Ei mitään muuta.

okay, so i have to admit, i have actually read the stephen king book. I guess i must have been 19 or so and needed some holiday big reading book. And i was hooked! Too bad the last book i never got around to reading. The comic version was a huge hit in the states so Egmont is hoping to cash in on the Stephen King fans as well

Okay so i have two copies of Anders Nilsens "Don't go where i can't follow" in my store now, one new and one second hand.
As you may know Anders is visiting Helsinki for the festival and this particular book is his best work to date and will move your stone cold cynical heart to tears.
In short, the book is a collection of poetic postcards, pictures and comicstories about the relationship with Nilsen and his fiancee who suddenly died of cancer...

Unfortunately the book is sold out and since Anders doesn't want these books to be reprinted, they are rather hard to come by.

I have now two copies, one new one which i bought from Kreegah and one secnd hand which is actually way more expensive and has coffee stains and such (ofcourse, Pitkämies likes that added touch of reality but i assume not everybody does),

In the Pitkämies store there are also clothing for sale, which some people who have visited the store may have noticed already. About two weeks ago i received a batch of really cool, unique design clothing made for 100% out of recycled materials.

This morning we had a bit of a fashion photoshoot with these clothing. Just in the store : "Complete haunt of fear" (Second hand)

in 5 books in a nice slipcase. This is the 1981 edition,a reprint of all EC's Haunt of fear magazines from 1950-1954. Original covers and in black and white (no ugly coloring!).









edit: I forgot to mention but the Pitkämies store always carries the latest Vice or Adbusters. This month both are quite interesting since Adbusters has a nice article of "the death of the hipster" which critices the idolised image of young people that magazines like Vice try to uphold. And on the other hand there is the new Vice issue which has a nice interview with Lynda Barry.
