I assume you mean these books?

Those are the Danish editions - I couldn't find any mention of the Norwegian ones. They look really interesting - plenty of insightful articles and other extra material along with all the Spirou adventures in chronological order. No, we Finns haven't seen those books at all, and I'm doubtful if we ever will have them here. I don't think Finnish Egmont is willing to take any risks and publish expensive collections that will only appeal to a stray few dedicated collectors.

Yup, those are the ones. The Norwegian editions can be found here, and the Swedish are listed here.

Odd that Egmont would publish them all over Scandinavia but leave out Finland if the albums are selling well, but maybe different formats have different appeal in each country.

I've read Swedish collection "Spirou 1938–1946" which made me to want one in Finnish too. OK, it's kind of "old fashioned" but fascinating piece of history.

That puzzles me too. I explain that to myself with the fact that publishing history of Spirou over here is quite sporadic, it's without coherent continuity. Therefore there's not enough readers.
There have been integralé volumes of Asterix and Gaston Lagaffe and works of Carl Barks plus Don Rosa. I have long hoped and waited for Hergé library but in vain. (I drooled over Cobolt's Tintin books, retro editions and such).

There Are Too Many Comics Which Don't Get Published Here.
