"I was just gazing through the art section and you won't believe how many nasty naked pictures stumbled across me. Why the hell are people posting such things. They should stop this. What is wrong with these people. Do people not realize that children of all ages are on this site. When this site was first made there was no such thing as this and as the time is going the nudity pictures are getting worse. Soon the site is going to be a sex page and i actually like this website so i don't want that to happen. To anyone who reads this, please do the right thing and flag or turn them in if they have such pictures. And to fools, who think this is cool, then get a life. If you want to jack off why don't you try another site because posting these nasty pictures is not what this site was made for so get lost!!! Comprende!!! Just stop doing it. Not that hard to understnad!!!!!"

"Artistic nudity and porn are two different things. If one is incapable of looking at a nude human body without seeing something sexual, then I suggest there is something wrong with the viewer, not with the artist.
Some great artworks portray bare human body, such as Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. But I guess it is just the American way of thinking that everything should be censored - just in case. The sheer though of birth, cleansing and sexual intimacy, the most basic events in human life, can't be handled by those people who probably shower in a bath robe.
Porn is one thing, tasteless and tacky pictures should not be displayed here, but art in it different forms should be allowed."

works of art that have nudity in them but what i'm
saying is that there are pictures of actual people
dressed in little to none clothing and some pictures

As an artist, I couldn’t be more insulted. I tried to portray the human body truthfully as it would be in the natural surroundings. As you know, many aboriginals don’t wear much clothing, especially in the tropic zone where it’s hot. I do not think that the state of clothing of the people depicted in artworks is any mean to tell true art and pornography apart. Or do you think that you alone have the right to define what kind of nakedness meets the criteria of “artistic nudity”?
This has become a matter of principle, and as long as it goes for any artist succumbing to the will of unintelligent prudes who know absolutely nothing about art, I will not yield. I refuse to remove the picture."
Tekisi mieli lisätä, että on vaikea pitää ihmistä minään muuna kuin idioottina, mikäli ei ole kykenevä käyttämään kirjoittaessaan edes isoja alkukirjaimia. Mutta en ole pikkumainen, en.
