Muulla vaille vastausta jäänyt. Eikös täällä ollut jokunenkin X9-lehtiä keräillyt?
Onko tätä tarinaa julkaistu suomenkielisessä Agentti X-9:ssä?
"Yes, Shell Scott has actually appeared in a comic book. Agent X-9 is owned by King Features Syndicate and was created by Dashiell
Hammett in the late 1920s. He has run consistently either as a newspaper strip or comic book since then. This character is hugely
popular in Sweden and Finland. Dean Davis has been the writer of Agent X-9 (aka Secret Agent Corrigan) since 1996.
Dean says, "When I got to know Mr. Prather I asked his permission to use Shell in a story. To my surprise (and crossed fingers) he
was delighted. I'm only the third person to handle ol' Shell. Mr. Prather is obviously the first and Stephen Marlowe (Milton Lesser)
cowrote Double in Trouble along with his character, Chester Drum."
This story, The Deadly Smile, was published in late 2000 by Egmont. It took place in the present day and involved two things that
don't neccessarily go together: high tech computers and supermodels. Three other characters from Shell's world also made a special
appearance: Shell's best friend Capt. Phil Samson along with Fabulous Lawrance and Didi from Take a Murder, Darling."
